On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our students, parents, and community members. Our school is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where every student can thrive both academically and socially. 

At Medford Elementary, we adhere to the district's Code of Conduct and embrace restorative practices as essential tools in shaping student behavior. We believe in teaching our students clear behavioral expectations across all settings, and when mistakes are made, we guide them on how to respond appropriately and repair relationships. This approach helps create a caring and respectful community where every child feels valued. 

A strong partnership with families is a crucial piece of helping prepare students for their future. Our staff works hard to keep families informed in a variety of ways, including phone calls, paper communication, our school website, Parent Square (a smart phone application), and the district website. To ensure we stay connected and communicate effectively, it is imperative that families maintain accurate phone numbers in the Parent Portal. 

I am truly honored to lead such a phenomenal school, filled with dedicated staff, persevering students, and a supportive community. This year marks my 25th year serving in our wonderful district and my sixth year as the proud principal of Medford. I am anticipating a fantastic year and am looking forward to meeting and working with each of you.
