Dear Patchogue-Medford Community-

I am filled with immense pride and deep gratitude to be serving as the Interim Superintendent for the 2025-2026 school year.

For the past twenty-five years, Patchogue-Medford has been more than just where I work; it has been my home. I have watched this community flourish, witnessed its unwavering commitment to excellence, and experienced firsthand the pride and rich traditions that make us who we are. To have the privilege of calling this remarkable district my home, and now to serve as your Interim Superintendent, is truly humbling.

The school year ahead is one I eagerly welcome. I look forward to collaborating closely with our dedicated Board of Education, continuing our partnerships with all our bargaining units, and working together with our parents and families. Most importantly, I am excited to serve our students—the heart of everything we do and the reason we are all here.

Together, our school community will continue to build upon the strong foundation that makes our district exceptional. Together, we will ensure that all students in our care receive the outstanding education they deserve.

Education Credo

As educators, I believe it is our responsibility to create a learning environment that supports all students regardless of race, gender, or economic status. We have the responsibility to create opportunities and educational programs that allow all students to develop the skills and behaviors necessary to succeed and become productive citizens in society.

I believe we need to come to work each day and celebrate the unique talents and qualities of all the students we serve in our community. Our role is to create a school culture that fosters inclusivity, acceptance, peer relationships, and teamwork.

I believe that all students deserve a learning environment that is inviting, engaging, inspiring, motivating, and challenging. An environment that allows students to become independent thinkers and problem solvers. An environment that teaches students to be risk-takers and not fear failure but to see it as a process of success.

I believe we need to continue to reflect, enhance and adjust. Never settle for the status quo. Think outside the box and be willing to change even when it is not always the popular thing to do. Always remember that the decisions we make should be in the best interest of children.
