There have been a number of safety concerns brought to our attention by staff members and parents with students who are riding bikes to and from school. Students have been seen riding around in the parking area and bus loop while cars and buses are entering and exiting. In addition, students have been seen riding around on the front lawn and walkways while people are trying to walk. Both of these situations present serious safety concerns.
Therefore, students are not permitted to ride their bikes on school property. Once entering school property riders must get off their bike and walk the bike to the bike rack. While exiting school the same rule applies. Riders must walk their bike to the nearest cross street off school grounds before riding the bike.
If students are caught violating this rule there will be serious consequences for creating a dangerous situation.
Homework Club will be on Mondays and Wednesdays afterschool in the Library.
