Mr. Mark Stuckey
Welcome to the Patchogue-Medford School District webpage for Art, Music and Cultural Arts! Mark Stuckey has been Director of Art, Music and Cultural Arts for the Patchogue-Medford School District since the 2016-2017 school year. While he is still new to this position, he is no stranger to the community, being a graduate of the Class of 2001.
Prior to holding this position, Mr. Stuckey has taught in both the Hampton Bays and Miller Place School Districts, from grades K-12 in ensemble and general music class settings. He attended Indiana University, receiving Bachelor degrees in both Music Education and Jazz Studies, as well as a Masters from IU in Jazz Studies, Saxophone. Most recently, he attended Stony Brook University to complete his Advanced Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership.
Mr. Stuckey is a supporter of all forms of the arts. Along with the staff, he hopes to provide a well-rounded education that both inspires and develops student creativity, as well as instilling intrinsic values that are taught through these programs.
Mr. Stuckey looks forward to seeing and hearing great art and music, as well as getting more opportunities to give back to a community that has done so much for him.
