Safety Patrol Students who have displayed exemplary behavior and work skills throughout their time at Tremont will be chosen to help with arrival and dismissal. This will with focus on maintaining safety procedures in the halls. Positions are set for the first half of the year. Students will have another opportunity to be selected for this club at the mid-year point Sept-June
Social Club The Tremont Social Club will focus on life skills to help students grow and thrive. It will demonstrate basic etiquette and social skills. Students will practice showing respect and consideration for others and themselves through engaging activities. March-June
Math Olympiads For students who love math. We will teach out of the box problem solving strategies and develop mathematical flexibility in solving problems. This will be done while fostering math creativity and ingenuity. November-June
Sports Club The club is a continuation of Physical Education class that allows students to get into small sided games where the students can extend the skills they are taught in class. November-June
Mural Club Students interested in art and painting may apply. Students will be drawn out of a lottery to participate if we have more applicants than we can accommodate. Students must wear clothes that can get paint on them and come prepared to get messy. Students must be free of health problems that would prevent them from working with paint and spray paint. May-June
Level -Up Club Provide students an opportunity to have more access to i -Ready in a fun and enjoyable environment. November-June
Peer Leadership Activities for this club will include school beautification projects such as updating bulletin boards and working with garden club at times... to start. Other activities may include working with younger grades during the school day outside of academic learning time, perhaps reading to kindergarten. We may choose a to raise money for a charity as well. The club will brainstorm ideas when they meet. October-June
Book Buddies To encourage and support independent reading time for striving readers. Selected Grade 4 and 5 students (Ideally, current and former AIS Reading students) will act as reading mentors and cheer leaders for younger AIS reading students. November-June
Study Squad This club will focus on ELA and Math test prep questions for the spring assessments. November-June
Book Club Designed for students that enjoy reading and discussing multicultural literature. April- June
Geography Explorers Students will have the opportunity to explore the different geographical features of the world. The primary focus will be on becoming familiar with the world as a whole and isolated areas of interest. February-June
Spelling Bee Stars Students' will increase English usage and engage in interactive learning activities. Students will also prepare for a fun spelling competition in May. March-June
Tech Club Embrace your inner tech genius and explore topics such as coding, robotics, 3D printing and more! November-June
Executive Fun Club Work on executive functioning skills through fun games. March-June
Writing Club Are you a person that loves to read and write? Then writing club is for you! March-June
Bird Sanctuary Support The Tremont Farm Club will help transform our courtyard into a bird sanctuary. Plants, trees, and birdhouses will be incorporated into the courtyard to create an inviting space for local and visiting birds. Students will help with every step of this process -- from planting to painting. We look forward to many feathered friends visiting Tremont this spring! February-June
Garden Club Do you like digging in the dirt, playing with plants, studying insects and being out in nature? If you answered yes, this club is for you November-June
Farm Club Composting, planting, working with soild and much more! Join us as we build the Tremont Farm in our new courtyard space. November-June
Chorus Club For those that enjoy singing and want to prepare for joining chorus in 4th grade. Students will sing together and prepare for an inschool performance at the end of the year. March-June
Recorder Club Learn how to play the recorder with your friends. November-June
