- Per Part 100.12 of the Commissioner’s Regulations, all New York State public school districts are required to develop and maintain district instructional technology plans.
- Districts are required to submit updates to the Department every three years through the Department’s District Instructional Technology Plan Survey located in the NYSED Business Portal. The due date to submit updates had been previously set as June 30, 2025.
- The due date to submit updates to District Instructional Technology Plans has been extended to June 30, 2026. All currently approved District Instructional Technology Plans remain approved through June 30, 2026. No waiver or additional approval is needed to extend approval through June 30, 2026.
