Welcome!

  • In 2019, the Patchogue Medford School District introduced new career and technical education courses at the high school to offer our students multiple pathways towards graduation. Since 2019 we have had eight career and technical education programs (CTE) approved by the New York State Education Department. Details about these programs can be found in the links provided on the CTE page. These courses prepare students to enter the workforce, college or the military with the necessary skills to succeed in a specific area of expertise. Our programs provide students with the 21st skills needed to succeed in each career cluster through theoretical comprehension and practical applications.

All courses offer students theoretical and practical applications that allow them to demonstrate their competency in each CTE course of study. These practices are delivered by certified CTE teachers and industry partners who participate in the learning experience. All courses offer our students the opportunity to participate in work-based learning experiences related to their field of study which supplements the content they are learning in the classroom.
