Parent-Teacher Organizations

  • Each of the schools in our district has a parent-teacher organization.  These groups, commonly known as PTAs, provide for activities and interaction between parents, teachers, staff, and students in each school community. To contact the parent-teacher organization in any school building please contact the Main Office in that building.
     
    The district-wide parent-teacher organization is called the Patchogue-Medford PTA Council.  Their meeting dates are listed on the district Calendar of Events.  The PTA Council President is Lori Musumeci, she can be contacted at (631) 374-3350 or via e-mail at lorsweets@aol.com.
     
    Additionally, there are parent organizations for athletic groups.  Art and music parents have formed a group called F.A.M.E.  These groups can be contacted through the offices of the appropriate academic director.
     
    Parents are encouraged to participate in these groups.
