Activities and Highlights
Black History Month was celebrated in the school libraries across the district this month. A true community effort was present at PMHS’s Library with the African American Read In celebration held on Wednesday, February 26th. Librarians, Kelly Lukemire and Regina Warga, organized student and faculty volunteers to share text excerpts, speeches, essays, and poetry with a large student audience. Senior Tristan Moreau was the emcee for the day and Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Donna Jones, also participated. The event will be registered on NCTE’s participation list.
