Food Services / Lunch Information

  • The Patchogue-Medford School District participates in the National School Lunch/School Breakfast Program. Nutritious meals are served every school day.
All meals served must meet patterns established by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.

Students may qualify for free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. One family application must be submitted each year listing every child in the family.
Applications are available throughout the school year from your school. Questions regarding free and reduced-priced meals should be directed to the Food Service Office at (631) 687-6525.

Breakfast and lunch meals can be prepaid and monies put into your child's account in the cafeteria. Checks are accepted and should be made out to the Patchogue-Medford School Lunch Fund. The money remains in the student account and may be used for breakfast and  lunch meals only during the year.  Monies are non-refundable, and account balances at the end of the school year are carried over to the next new school year.
Your child's account can be replenished at any time to avoid a negative balance.

If you have any additional questions about the menu or food service in general, please ask the Senior Food Service Worker at the school site or contact the Food Service Office.
