Art, Music, and Cultural Arts

  • The Patchogue-Medford Art and Music program provides the foundation for a lifetime involvement in the Arts. Students are taught and encouraged to create, appreciate, and analyze Art and Music, promoting intellectual curiosity and creative expression. Art and Music is a necessary outlet for child development and social and emotional learning. Students often succeed with an Art and Music curriculum that contain high standards, and is welcoming and inclusive to all.

“The purpose of Arts Education is not to produce more artists, though that is a byproduct. The real purpose of Arts Education is to create complete human beings capable of leading successful and productive lives in a free society.”

    Dana Gioia – American Poet
