Mr. Bryan Lake, Principal
-
As Mr. Lake enters his twelfth year as the Oregon Middle School Principal. His goals remain the same: to provide each student with a positive, enjoyable, middle school learning experience.
Mr. Lake possesses over 26 years of educational experience spanning grades 6-12. His experience includes teaching at both the middle and high school levels. His administrative experience was as an Assistant Principal at William Floyd High School and Patchogue-Medford High School. His educational and work experience was not a direct road to becoming an educator. Mr. Lake’s education started with an Associate’s Degree in Hotel Administration from Nassau Community College, then a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from Oneonta State College. Transitioning into a career in education, he completed his Master of Science in Education from Dowling College and later his Educational Leadership from Dowling College. After graduating from Oneonta State College, he spent four years as a sales manager for three different fortune 500 companies. Mr. Lake’s passion to educate and coach our future leaders drove him to become an educator. He is married to his wife Kelly Ann for 27 years and they have four children from 12th grade, two children in college and one in the workforce.
Each day he is thankful for the opportunity to be working with the students, parents and teachers that make up the Oregon Family. He looks forward to the opportunity to continue working with the students to guide them through the middle school years, which can be both challenging and rewarding.
