This
years homecoming was very special. With the move of Grade
9 to the high school, this September, this was the first time in
a long time that Patchogue-Medford had four classes in competition.
The exceptional organizational skills of the G.O. advisors Jennifer
Carluccio and Regan Sweda contributed to a fabulous homecoming for
all four classes. This years theme: Decades
The
freshmen class, led by advisors Beth Claps and Jennifer Taylor,
chose the decade of the eighties. Their float depicted Ataris
Pac Man, one of the first computer games.
The sophomores
Saturday Night Fever shifted us back to the seventies.
Their float was complete with bell-bottoms and a record, both now
gone with the decade. With bell-bottoms making a come back, can
LPs be far behind! Sophomore class advisors are Mike Cuccinello
and Gina VanHorn.
The
junior class found the fifties to be a fun time. Hot rods and famous
stars marked the decade. Advisors Amy Johnston and Vincenza Vultaggio
helped their class Rock Around the Clock.
Senior
advisors John Albert and Lisa Perera Let It Be with
the seniors tribute to the sixties. A psychedelic scene full
of flower power followed by a refinished VW bus made their return
to the sixties, a colorful reminder of the past.
