Norah Liang's Work To Be Presented At Cold Spring Harbor Lab Lecture on June 8th
Mrs. Lorraine Meyer and her Corporate Raider Interns welcomed 55 businesses at Career Connections Exploration Day on March 25, 2010. Over nine hundred students attended the event.
Upon arrival at the gym, questionnaire worksheets were given to each student to help guide their conversations with the various business leaders. They recorded their conversations for future reference and discussion of career direction. Professionals and organizations provided the students with information on educational criteria and job requirements for careers in their organizations and/or field of study. A number of the business areas were staffed by former Patchogue-Medford students.
It was an educational day for business attendees and students alike. For some students it even led to employment with attending organizations.
