Eagle Remembers 9/11
On Wednesday, September 11th, the students and faculty of Eagle Elementary School in Medford, New York gathered beneath a brilliant sun to remember a
much darker day just one year ago.
Students read poems and pieces that they had written about their thoughts of that day. While there were moments of sadness, there was also an atmosphere of hope and resolve in the knowledge that we are the builders of our future.
Children always seem to have the ability to show us another view of life and the Students at Eagle Elementary are no exception.
