"Mr. Pete Berman from the Long Island Power Authority (L.I.P.A.) held an “Electrical Safety” presentation at Barton for the third grade students. Conductors and Insulators were discussed and demonstrated as well as many good practices to follow around electricity. Finally, the students learned the dangers of high voltage power lines, as seen in the last picture when a television antenna was “blown” from a roof top into the power-lines."
