Procedure:
1. Group children in teams of four to six students for center work
2. Organize students according to assignments
3. Students will access Student Writing Center through the School Vista
Bookshelf
4. Students will choose Letter format
5. Student will choose "Without Heading" Format
6. Student will type story using word wall, helper words, and peer
editor
7. Student team will edit work
8. Students will access the Internet to choose picture
9. Students will print out illustration of their choice
10. Students will complete assignment in agreed upon period of time
Evaluation:
Students complete assignment in agreed upon period of time
Students demonstrate books through shared reading
Students display their stand-up booklets during A Learning Festival
at school.
